May be collected as an early morning spot spot urine or 24 hour

collection. If not specified collect a spot sample. A 24 hour collection

(plain collection bottle) is preferred when there is a high index of

suspicion. When collecting timed sample please write start and finish

Record urine volume, mix thoroughly, send 50 mL aliquot at 4°C

For spot sample, store and transport sample at 4 degrees.
